Crime Continues!
We continue to experience a high rate of thefts, burglaries, and vandalism. If you check the DPD stats, you will find that our Sector 240 is consistently among the eight highest crime sectors in Dallas. Although the Sector rate is very high, our reporting area (6011) is not as bad as the larger sector, but it's much higher than it should be. Please check with our crimewatch chairman, T. Sidewalk Success!
Councilman Blaydes has informed us that the sidewalk we requested (on the southside of Forest from near Stultz to Shepherd has been approved and construction should start in the summer or early fall. In addition, sidewalks on the south side of Skyline and both sides of Landa may be constructed, since they were part of the original Dart proposal.
